The natural hydrogen exploration and production sector progressed, with pioneers such as Hydroma in Mali and NH2 in the United States. South Australia was the first to make legal adjustments, followed by other regions.  Operating and service companies have secured blocks and tools. Methods for assessing H2-generating rocks are emerging.

The HNAT 2023 event in Australia will bring together governments, companies and research centers. It promises to be a global gathering place for the community.
